About The Waterfront Cottage St George’s Basin

Located on the waterfront reserve of St George’s basin, Sanctuary Point, the property has ample off-street parking for 3 cars (or 2 cars and a boat). You can launch your boat from the various boat ramps just minutes away.

The house’s open-plan design creates a spacious and comfortable environment. Sliding doors lead from the living area to the deck allowing immediate access to the uninterrupted views of the beautiful tranquil waters of St George’s Basin. 

The house comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 brand new bathrooms (1 en suite for master bedroom) and an open plan kitchen, living room and dining room. Reverse-cycle aircon in the living area will cool this single-level living space. Take a look at the floorplan to visualize the layout.

The modern chef’s kitchen features stainless steel appliances with a double fridge, oven, electric top, microwave and dishwasher. There’s a generous island and a full range of high-quality kitchen appliances including a Nespresso Machine and glassware including rustic jam jars for your cold drinks. A supply of coffee-compatible Nespresso capsules and capsule menu, teas, hot chocolate, sugar are available for your enjoyment. Various other essentials are available to get you started, such as dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials, toilet paper, kitchen towels, tea clothes, oils and spice rack. Towels are not supplied - so please come supplied.

The kitchen overlooks the open-plan dining and living area, and through to the rear deck, garden and waterfront views of St George’s Basin. Outside we have stylish wide-boar decking, while indoors the house has light wooden floors.

We have a partially-covered entertainment area for the all-weather entertainer, fitted with a complete stainless steel outdoor kitchen with 5-burner BBQ, side wok, fridge and sizable sink (which you can also fill with ice to cool your drinks).

There’s a built-in laundry area with washer, dryer and sink and a separate cupboard with household cleaning items. All gardens have been landscaped with native grasses and plants to attract the native birdlife. The rear garden has a substantial viewing deck and picnic table which will seat the entire family. The viewing deck leads to a terraced garden, which in turn leads to the reserve.

The house has high-standard furnishings with Italian leather sofas, day bed and chaise, handmade Australian hardwood furniture in the living areas with a slightly rustic distressed feel all made by "No Surf Furniture".

The four bedrooms and two bathrooms comfortably cater for 8 guests with an inflatable queen bed on request to sleep 10 in all. All the bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.

Bed 1: 2 x Singles, inflatable queen bed on request. Plantation shutters and ceiling fan.

Bed 2: Single bunk bed, plantation shutters, no ceiling fan.

Bed 3: Master queen bedroom with WIR and en suite shower, toilet/vanity, ceiling fan and blackout panel gliders. Clock and iPod dock.

Bed 4: Queen bed, plantation shutters and ceiling fan, clock and iPod dock.

All dressed with high-thread count linen, pillows, duvets and striped throw cushions.

For your entertainment there is a 50” full HD TV with virtual surround sound-bar, blu-ray DVD and iPod dock in the living room. You’ll enjoy an extensive library of DVDs for the entire family along with Austar channels. There’s also a selection of board games.

Pets are welcome, although please be aware that the property isn't fully fenced. There's plenty of room in the backyard and on the waterfront reserve for them to run around and pet friendly beaches are nearby. Please note that only one dog is permitted to stay
